World Finance Islamic Finance Awards 2025: Recognising Excellence in a Transforming Industry

The World Finance Islamic Finance Awards 2025 will once again recognise the institutions, individuals, and initiatives setting new standards in Sharia-compliant financial services worldwide. As Islamic finance continues to grow beyond $4 trillion in assets under management, its role as a stable, ethical, and resilient pillar of the global financial system becomes increasingly pronounced.

This year, World Finance will conduct a rigorous evaluation of the most influential players across Islamic banking, capital markets, asset management, takaful, sukuk structuring, and advisory services. The awards will identify those organisations that demonstrate operational excellence, robust governance, and a commitment to sustainable development principles rooted in Sharia law.

Selection criteria will place particular focus on financial strength, client outcomes, product innovation, ESG alignment, digital transformation, and regulatory integrity. Winners will be those institutions that not only meet these benchmarks but help define them, driving the next phase of Islamic finance’s evolution.

As the sector gains greater traction in both OIC and non-OIC markets, and as global demand for ethical and values-based finance intensifies, the World Finance Islamic Finance Awards will serve as a vital reference point for excellence, leadership, and best practice.

Organisations across the GCC, Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe and beyond will be in contention, reflecting the truly global scope of the awards. In a year expected to be defined by digital innovation, macroeconomic realignment and strategic transformation, the 2025 award winners will embody the future of Islamic finance.

Awards announcement via press release in early December.
